Eligibility
PTO
The following employees accrue PTO during the year based on their years of service:
- Full-time Retail and Distribution Center associates
- Corporate Hourly and Corporate Salaried associates regularly scheduled to work 30+ hours per week
- Corporate Hourly associates regularly scheduled to work 20+ hours per week
Part-time, Temporary and Independent Contractors:
- Part-time Corporate/Manufacturing/Distribution Center associates receive holiday pay based on the average daily hours worked.
- Part-time or temporary Retail associates are not eligible to accrue PTO benefits, including paid time off days, paid sick days and paid holidays.
- Temporary Corporate, Distribution Center and Manufacturing associates and independent contractors are not eligible to accrue PTO benefits, including paid time off days, paid sick days and paid holidays.
Paid Sick Time
Some Caleres associates receive paid sick days. You may not roll sick time over into the next calendar year.
Some cities and states require more paid sick time and may have different requirements affecting the accrual, use, carryover and cash-out of sick time. Retail, DC and Manufacturing associates that tender their resignation may not use PTO during the notice period, unless otherwise permitted under applicable law, including paid sick leave laws.
