Caleres offers paid leave options for military service and jury duty.

Military Leave

If you're entering military service or required to perform military service as part of the military reserve, inform your supervisor as soon as possible. Caleres, Inc. complies with all state laws respecting military service, including affording leave of absence and re-employment rights to eligible associates.

Military Leave Policy provides paid time off for military service including:

  • Active duty
  • Active duty for training
  • Required inactive duty for training
  • Required full-time National Guard duty or an absence to be examined for such service or training
  • Active members of military reserve units who are required to participate in periodic summer encampments

During a paid Military Leave, you’ll receive your pay in the same form as usual and continue receiving any benefits you’re enrolled in. View the Military leave policy for more information including details on the salary differential.

Jury Duty

If you're summoned for jury duty, submit a copy of the summons to your supervisor. The company will continue to pay your base salary for hours you would normally be scheduled to work during your jury service. You may retain any payments received from the courts.
